How it works
- AMPTweed Lux reproduces the touch-sensitive, compressed tube breakup of the small vintage Supro combo Page cranked in the studio.
- AMPSince Page recorded with a bright 1959 Telecaster, Tweed Lux Tone is bumped up to 62 and CAB Low Cut is set to 100 Hz to stop your warmer humbuckers from getting boomy.
- FX2A subtle 150 ms tape slapback and warm studio plate reverb capture the dimensional ambience engineered at Olympic Studios without clouding your notes.
Tuning
The record is in E standard, low to high: E A D G B E.
Tune your guitar the same way. Or make your version above, say how yours is tuned, and your Pulze Mini shifts it to match.

Bridge humbucker wide open gives you maximum clarity and harmonic punch to match Page's Telecaster bite.
The original rig
Jimmy Page recorded the acoustic and 12-string rhythm parts using a Harmony Sovereign and Fender Electric XII, while the legendary guitar solo was performed on his 1959 Telecaster pushed through a cranked Supro Coronado combo with a Vox wah. The soaring lead tone comes from driving both volume controls on the modified Supro into natural power-tube saturation with added studio plate reverb.

- Dig in with a firm pick attack during the fast pentatonic runs to induce natural tube sag and sustain.
- Apply wide, expressive vibrato at the peak of full-step bends on the high strings to let the notes bloom naturally.
- Keep your right-hand palm lightly resting against the lower strings during high-position bends to prevent sympathetic string hum.
