How it works

  • AMPThe Matchless-inspired Emperor Clean amp provides high-headroom chime and touch sensitivity that keeps dense chords crystal clear.
  • DYNGentle front-end compression adds sustain so your notes bloom and sing through the delay and reverb without dying out prematurely.
  • EQSubtle Dimension chorus widens the stereo field while the Shimmer reverb adds an angelic octave-up aura mimicking a worship synth pad.
  • FX2Tailored for single-coil pickups by smoothing the treble and cab high cut, preventing the shimmer octaves from turning piercing or harsh.

On the guitar

Made for a single-coil guitar (Strat style).

Provides bite and clarity to cut through ambient wash during melodic hooks.

Playing it

  • To eliminate pick attack, strike the strings while your guitar volume is fully off, then roll the volume up evenly over one or two beats.
  • Let notes overlap naturally into inversions and triads instead of strumming hard, allowing the delays and shimmer tail to create a continuous atmospheric pad.
  • Add a very gentle vibrato with your fretting hand after swelling in to keep the pitch modulation moving through the reverb wash.
